Should I use a Recruitment Agency to seek employment? What should I expect?

Two years ago, we wrote a blog called “Why Use a Recruitment Agency” which was aimed at businesses.
The long and short of it was that recruitment agency consultants know the company culture, understand the teams, and can assist with putting together the job description. They genuinely save the business time by advertising, sourcing, interviewing, and selecting the right candidates for the job.

So, why should a job seeker use an agency?

Job searching is a mammoth task! Although we technically work for the recruiting business, job seekers and their skills, experience and character are equally as important. It is essential that we spend time with you and find out what is important to you. We want you to know that you won’t be alone in the search for a new job. If the agency chooses to represent you and submit your details to vacancies, there are so many benefits to look forward to.

What do we do for you?

    • The best part – it’s free! It’s a free service to job seekers, so there’s no risk and you don’t have to spend a penny.
    • You save time. Working with a recruitment agency can save you a huge amount of time in your search for a perfect job, and of course it doesn’t have to be exclusive, you can still apply to other vacancies online.
    • Find your perfect job that isn’t advertised elsewhere. Many businesses looking for a new employee only use agencies. They don’t always advertise themselves, so you won’t miss out if you are right for the job.
    • We offer free advice. You receive free advice, interview tips, support through your job search, help with your CV to make sure it’s looking great. We talk to you in detail about the company, the team, and the role. At interview stage you receive a confirmation email with everything you need to know, and at offer stage, we are here to make sure the process runs smoothly.
  • We know the business and the teams. We have inside knowledge and can inform you about the company, the team, and the benefits.
  • Be the first to know about any other potential jobs. You have met us and spent time with us. We will keep in contact with you about other vacancies that are right for you.

What can you do to help?

  • Registration Form. It’s a legal thing, and it doesn’t take long to complete online.
  • Meet us. A quick catch up on Teams to check we have all the relevant information. You get to meet us, and it gives us the chance to learn more about you and all your requirements.
