Due to a big increase in workload, this worldwide business is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to monitor the overall supply chain strategy in order to maximise efficiency and productivity. This involves managing a team of three department specialists.

Tasks involve:

  • Process & System Management:

Produce monthly reports for supplier and business performance and stock management reporting via company ERP software.

  • Supply Management:

Driving accountability of suppliers, through driving company forecasting via Sales department and delivery against requirements. Management of supplier pricing to achieve best value such as optimal price breaks, collaboration with group purchasing to achieve centralised pricing where available.

  • Auditing:

Supporting internal and external auditing.

  • Stock Management:

Performing stock check and warehouse inventory, alternate supplier/product management for critical orders to key customers.

  • People Management:

Lead a team of purchasing and logistics specialists.

  • Team Coordination:

Coordinating the supply chain team such as communication and activities e.g. meetings and updates

  • Quality Control
  • Ad-hoc:

Deliver Procurement tasks such as order placement with suppliers, expediting of orders pre and post agreed delivery dates, supplementing the team during periods of absence.

Attending Management Meetings and contributing towards the operational and strategic development of the company from a supply chain standpoint.

Being a Lean Champion and ensure smooth running of operations by continuously improving processes and solving problems in line with Six Sigma.
