Service and Parts Co-ordinator

Our client is a leading business in the design, manufacture and service of world class products. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for  a customer focused co-ordinator with a technical mind who is keen to learn. This role will be providing aftermarket contact and support to customers and the team.
Could suit anyone with an interest in the Shipping/logistics environment.

Tasks

  • Working together as part of a team to provide the best support to customers whilst maximising the efficiency.
  • Identify, quote and process spare part orders
  • Attend update meetings with the Shipping teams
  • Provide information via email and phones to customers and engineers.
  • Provide customer quotations, order processing and order acknowledgements.
  • Ensure all customer requests are handled professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Deal with invoicing and all administration surrounding the aftermarket sales.

 
Essential Skills

  • Ability to digest technical information, so a keenness to learn and to be part of the team is essential
  • Organised and efficient – with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to manage own workload and drive results. Be proactive in assisting other out
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good general communication skills – able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent attitude to customer care.
  • UK Driving Licence.
