Reception & Customer Support Administrator

We’re looking for a positive all-rounder with strong customer facing skills to join an international business in Farnborough. This exciting support role would be ideal for an adaptable candidate who enjoys variety and juggling priorities.
Based in a reception office, this position is responsible for providing varied support to the business overall, the MD and the wider team.
What’s involved:

  • Supporting all customer requirements whilst visiting the premises, including refreshments, administration, and coordination with Security to arrange access and taxis
  • Assisting with customer feedback, actions, and support
  • Assisting with visual displays in reception and looking after the presentation of the reception office, customer rooms and meeting rooms
  • Managing the incoming calls and emails
  • Supporting the business with day-to-day requirements including ordering uniform and business stationery, purchase orders, post, and organising staff travel such as car hire, taxis, flights, hotels
  • Supporting the MD in arranging appointments, administering calendars, organising meetings, and taking notes
  • Supporting the Production Management Team in the organisation of training courses
  • Organising events as required, including All-Hands Meetings, Breakfast Meetings and Away Days
  • Supporting the Company’s Health and Safety process
  • Liaising with H&S and Security regarding all visitor requirements
  • Focal point for Facilities fault-raising 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Previous administration and customer facing experience where flexibility and excellent customer service skills have been paramount
  • Experience in an international business would be ideal
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload and remain calm under pressure
  • Strong communication at all levels, and with a diverse range of people
  • A proactive, energetic character who likes to use their initiative
  • Good administration and MS Office skills and the ability to pick up new systems easily.

Hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and there’s a good benefits package offered including 24 days holiday.
