Support Administrator required for a busy purchasing department to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Tasks involve:

  • Generating reports
  • Reporting information directly to suppliers
  • Setting up new product and supplier information on the Company ERP
  • Dealing with invoices and shipping queries
  • Checking products against supplier provided information
  • Requesting and managing safety and compliance documentation
  • Updating product availability and shipping timescales
  • Raising and amending purchase orders on behalf of the buyers
  • Carrying out additional duties as and when required

Skills required:

  • Proven experience of administration and providing support in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent IT skills including strong Word and Excel skills
  • Familiar with using an ERP would be an advantage
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines under pressure
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Accuracy and attention to detail essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
