A Temp to Perm part-time opportunity working in a small, friendly business involved in the manufacture, distribution and installation of technology products and accessories.
We’re looking for a motivated, adaptable administrator with previous experience in a small sales office environment. If you enjoy making a role your own this is the ideal opportunity to manage the entire sales administration process from the receipt of quotes through to final delivery.
A flexible approach will be needed as this varied role provides support to the General Manager and the Sales team and ensures the smooth running of the office in general. The Sales Administrator will be answering calls, maintaining office supplies, updating the systems with quotes and order information, distributing emails, maintaining holiday and absence records, recording forecast information and providing reports for monthly meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills will be essential as you’ll be composing customer emails and building relationships over the phone with Sales Agents and Distributors.
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new software quickly and easily. This business uses the CRM database Act! alongside Sage therefore previous experience of Sage and a CRM would be ideal.
- A background working with technical products, and experience of working with engineers will be a distinct advantage.
There is some flexibility on hours, but you’ll ideally be working 16-20 hours a week, 4-5 hours from Monday to Friday; e.g. 9am to 1/2pm or 9.30am to 1.30/2.30pm.
