Part Time Purchase Ledger Assistant

A fabulous opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a fun busy team working for a great company who specialise in their field. This is a Part time role, hours to suit between 8.30am and 5pm spread over 4 or 5 days (24/25 hours pw).
Opportunity to go full time and permanent after 3 months.
The key responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Assistant will be:

• Checking Invoices to purchase orders and requesting POD’s if not receipted.
• Processing the invoices in a timely manner to ensure job costs are accurate
• Moving stock from jobs / to jobs as required
• Statement reconciliations
• Download monthly discrepancy report and highlight any significant differences to contract manager.
• Raising price queries to suppliers and chasing up credits
• Checking expenses to receipts and receiving approval for payment.
• Analysis of monthly credit card bill, checking receipts, raising queries, and chasing missing receipts.

Ideally 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position, experience of SAGE, confident with Excel, happy to deal with people at all levels and work independently.
