Part Time Administrator

Our client is offering the perfect part time admin opportunity, working 20-25 hours a week in ‘school hours’ if desired, or maybe spread over 4 days a week. The position would suit a candidate who is adaptable, resourceful and enjoys juggling a variety of tasks. This role is based within a small team and will mainly assist the business owner on a day-to-day basis. This is a permanent role paying £12-13 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the business by managing a busy inbox, actioning, and filing appropriately to facilitate an effective and timely workflow system.
  • Creating quotations in Excel and liaising with clients on email regarding queries or approval.
  • Requesting POs if required and setting up the detailed client order on the system.
  • Passing the order to production and keeping track of deadlines and client requirements.
  • Prioritising, and organising deliveries using a supplier suitable for the specific order.
  • Ordering supplies for the client orders and for the office.
  • Creating a weekly summary of jobs in progress/actionable for each client.
  • Generating client invoices from quotes.

We’re looking for:

  • Intermediate skills in Excel.
  • The ability to work to deadlines, coordinate and prioritise multiple tasks using your own initiative.
  • A self-starter with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
  • A methodical, detailed approach to work.
  • Someone who is keen to suggest new ideas to improve planning and efficiency of workflow.
