Due to continued growth and increased commercial demands our client has a requirement for a Operations and Production Manager. This is a great opportunity to come into the business and manage and develop an effective supply chain function for the business. This would include operational and customer facing KPIs, direct responsibility for the delivery of the warehouse, procurement, quality, Health & Safety and liaison with the Sales Director to ensure that the company are providing an effective service.
Establish KPI’s in line with the business direction
Establish clear, documented policies procedures and targets for the delivery of the activities
Direct responsibility for the warehouse and production functions at 2 sites
Develop and manage a sales and operational planning process
Liaise with the Sales and Customer Service Managers to obtain reliable demand forecast
Management of the purchasing function
Liaise with head of quality to ensure that procedures deliver a high quality of service
Ensure that the business activities are carried out in compliance with QHSE requirements
3 plus years experience as an Operations Manager – H&S, Quality, Production
Excellent verbal and written communication skills – clear and concise
Graduate or similar calibre gained through experience
Experience of ERP
Persuasive with ability to win support from the teams
