Engineer Scheduler/Service Desk Planner

As a Service Desk Planner, you’ll be the key point of coordination for engineers and account managers, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery for a portfolio of clients. While previous experience in a similar role is ideal, we offer full training to help you succeed. This is a Temp to Perm position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule jobs for a dedicated portfolio of accounts
- Allocate and manage engineer workloads
- Monitor and process job paperwork and escalate where needed
- Communicate with Account Managers and clients regarding service delivery
- Issue reports and certificates, and ensure documentation accuracy
- Liaise with engineers on job progress, updates, and concerns
- Book appointments with clients and confirm scheduling
- Raise new jobs, contracts, and order materials
- Assist with job-related queries, abortive charges, and missed visits
- Support invoicing by checking job details and paperwork
- Answer incoming calls and handle general administrative tasks
- Run weekly reports to track pending or overdue jobs
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in scheduling or a similar admin/coordinator role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable handling a fast-paced, detail-oriented workload
